Senior Care Assistant
Job Specification:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to residents. You will provide support to inexperienced staff ensuring they are following standards and procedures. Duties may include:
- Proving, overseeing, supervising and monitoring daily routines to ensure consistent high standards of residential care is achieved.
- Support senior staff, where appropriate, to carry out their clinical responsibilities for residents and assist with administration of medication in accordance with medication procedures.
- Take responsibility for upholding and improving your knowledge and skills.
- Ensure care plans for new residents are established and maintained.

- Verbal, writing and communication skills
- Able to build positive and professional relationships with the residents
Licence / Certifications:
- NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care (Required)
- 1-year previous experience within a care home (Required)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (Required)
